Bad Day for Tran

JC Tran has been having a tough time of it.

He made it to the river of a {K-Spades} {9-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} board and was faced with a 62,000 bet from Max Heinzelmann. After a long period of staring at the board, Tran folded while Heinzelmann bumped his already big stack up to 430,000.

Next hand and Tran raised to 16,000 -- but Jonathan Heath pushed for 100,000 and Tran declined to make the call.

Tran's down to 155,000.

Jules - Striking a blow for journalists everywhere.
Julien Brecard is up to 440,000 after eliminating Lawrence Jacobs with {A-Diamonds} {A-Clubs} against {A-Spades} {K-Spades}. The board almost offered excitement but then failed to deliver when it came {J-Hearts} {10-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} {6-Spades}.

Maridu Gets Lucky

Maridu Mayrinck has doubled through Jon Heath holding {A-?} {9-?} and managing to pair both her hole cards against his {J-?} {J-?} in a slice of good fortune. Heath though started the day with over 300,000 but now has dropped to a short stack.

Ross Loses Out To A Boat, Man...

Ross Boatman has been knocked out by Lorenz Roder, Boatman raised preflop to about 12,000 and Roder shoved from the blinds.

Boatman thought for a moment declaring, "I've got a bad feeling about this," but called with {A-Diamonds} {Q-Spades}, Roder showed {J-Hearts} {J-Spades}.

The board came {8-Clubs} {4-Spades} {4-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {10-Hearts} and Boatman found Roder had him just covered and was eliminated.

Alex Left With A Bowl Of Wice

Vivek Rajkumar reraised all-in against Alex Wice, the latter calling with {6-Spades} {6-Clubs} in a race against Rajkumar's {A-Diamonds} {9-Hearts}.

The flop came {2-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {6-Hearts} and Rajkumar seemed dead and buried, but the {5-Clubs} turn combined with {8-Hearts} river gave him the double up and left Wice crippled.

Horgmo Hogs the Chips

Some extreme luckiness for Sondre Horgmo after his {A-?} {Q-?} came good against Edmund O'Brien's {A-?} {K-?} on an {A-?} {5-?} {Q-?} {2-?} {6-?} board.

Horgmo is up to around 200,000, while Horgmo is within sight of the felt, on just 5,500.
