Horecki Surrenders to River Raise

Team PokerStars Pro Marcin Horecki has been having a great day, but even he can't win every pot. Horecki was the first player to act on a flop of {Q-Spades} {Q-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} and bet 1,525. His lone opponent, the button player, thoughtfully considered his action and then called. Both players checked the turn {2-Spades}. The river fell {K-Clubs}. Horecki had first action and, perhaps given his opponent's check on the turn, led out for 3,525. After approximately twenty seconds, his opponent raised to 8,500. It took Horecki far less time to fold. His opponent showed presto -- pocket fives.

"It's a value bluff!" said Horecki. His stack took a slight hit, but is still strong at approximately 35,000.
