Waking a Sleeping Dragan

Dragan Galic is burninating the short stacks.
Dragan Galic is burninating the short stacks.
Chip leader Dragan Galic started the day out slowly, but he's come on strong in the last half hour. He busted a short stack, Johannes Per Soderstrom, who was all in preflop with {A-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} against Galic's pocket fives. Soderstrom never improved -- presto was goot!

A short time later, a raising war erupted between Galic and Samuel Lindberg. They traded raises back and forth until Lindberg was all in with pocket kings. Galic grinned and turned over {A-Diamonds} {A-Spades}.

"You guys think I'm aggressive," said Galic. "Do you see my cards?"

The board ran out {8-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {6-Spades} {8-Clubs} {Q-Spades} to send Lindberg to the payout table. By the time Galic was finished stacking all of his chips, he was well over 1 million.
