On the first hand of the day, Dragan Galic opened with an under-the-gun raise to 250. His table is six-handed to start off, and all five of his opponents quickly called in turn to see a family flop. Galic leaned back in his chair and chuckled to the media standing nearby. "I raise and they all call!" he laughed, turning back to see the dealer run the first three cards.

They came {2-Spades} {9-Diamonds} {3-Hearts}, and the big blind checked. Galic continued out with a bet of 600, and this time he found just two callers. All three men would check the {8-Hearts} on the turn, and the {J-Hearts} filled out the board. Galic stacked out 1,350 chips and slid them into the middle, and it was just the right amount to win him the pot. The gregarious pro laughed again and wiped the imaginary sweat from his brow after dragging in the first pot of the day.
