A Milly, A Milly

Torsten Tent and Max Lykov are neck-and-neck for the chip lead after fast starts to both of their days. It looks like Tent was the first one to sneak over the million-chip mark, and he appears to have Lykov pipped by just a couple small chips.

Igor Dubinsky Eliminated in 26th Place (€8,600)

After surviving that all in just prior to the break, Igor Dubinsky of the Ukraine found it necessary to put his tourney life on the line once again, opening with an all-in raise of 95,000 from the button. Vadim Markushevski called from the small blind, and the big blind got out of the way.

Markushevski turned over {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}, and Dubinsky tabled {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}. The board came {6-Spades}{3-Spades}{A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, and the Ukrainian is out.

Meanwhile, Markushevski (from Belarus) is now up to 685,000.

Nikita Lebedov Eliminated in 25th Place (€8,600)

Nikita Lebedov - 25th Place
A player in early position opened with a raise to 22,000 before Vadim Markushevski three-bet it up to 64,500. In the next seat over, Nikita Lebedov wasn't satisfied with the amount, and he moved all in for just about 270,000 total. The original raiser folded, but Markushevski didn't take too long to consider before making the call with the covering stack.

Showdown
Markushevski: {10-Clubs} {10-Spades}
Lebedov: {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts}

The flop was pretty dry as it came {8-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {6-Hearts}, but a nice sweat came on the turn in the form of the {5-Hearts}. Looking for any ace, king, or heart, Lebedov would find none. That last river card of his day was the blank {3-Clubs}, and he has exited in 25th place.

Three Tabling

With 24 players now remaining, we have no use for Table 1. The players have been re-combined into three eight-handed tables, drawing ever closer to their goal of making the final.

Michael Naletov Eliminated in 23rd Place (€9,600)

Michael Naletov - 23rd Place
Michael Naletov - 23rd Place
Michael Naletov open-shoved all in for his final 120,500 chips holding {A-Clubs} {8-Clubs}, and he would find action from one of the many big stacks at his table, calling him down with the dominating {A-Spades} {J-Clubs}.

The board ran down {2-Spades} {2-Hearts} {6-Clubs} {J-Hearts} {10-Hearts}, relieving Naletov of his remaining chips and end his day. He'll take home 23rd-place money worth €9,600 -- not too shabby for three days' work.

Grigory Zima Eliminated in 22nd Place (€9,600)

Grigory Zima - 22nd Place
Grigory Zima - 22nd Place
Gregory Zima moved all in for his last 83,000 chips, and Ad Schaap immediately began couting out calling chips. Shooting several glances toward the players still left to act, Schaap eventually called and the rest of the table ducked out of the way.

Showdown
Zima: {7-Clubs} {8-Spades}
Schaap: {A-Spades} {J-Clubs}

Both players would pair up on a flop that came {7-Spades} {A-Clubs} {2-Hearts}, keeping Schaap in the lead and Zima in immediate danger. The turn {5-Spades} was a blank, as was the {6-Diamonds} that hit the river, much to the dismay of the at-risk player. Finding no further help on board, Grigory Zima has been shown the exit in 22nd place.

The Downs and Ups for Meyburg

Volodymyr Zakharov raised to 21,000 from under the gun, Torsten Tent called from middle position, and Michael Meyburg called from the big blind as well.

The flop came {9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{8-Diamonds}, and all three checked. The turn was the {K-Clubs}, and once again, the trio all checked.

The river brought the {8-Spades}, pairing the board. This time Meyburg fired a bet of 40,000. Zakharov took about a minute to consider the situation, then folded. Then Tent went into the tank for a bit. Finally he leaned forward to inspect the size of Meyburg's bet more closely. When he realized it was only 40,000 (he perhaps thought it had been for more), he made the call.

Meyburg showed {A-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} for the bluff, and Tent {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts} to take the pot. Tent was at 945,000 after that one, while Meyburg slipped to 74,000.

Meyburg was all in from the button on the next hand with {A-Spades}{J-Spades} and was called by Zakharov in the big blind who tabled {K-Spades}{J-Clubs}. The board came {5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}, and Meyburg survives with about 160,000. Zakharov has about 185,000.

Oleksander Vaserfirer - 21st Place
The table had folded around to the blinds, when suddenly Oleksander Vaserfirer pushed all in from the small blind for about 175,000, and not two seconds later Lucasz Plichta called from the big blind, leaving himself just a small stack behind.

Vaserfirer {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Plichta {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}

The board went {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, and Vaserfirer is out in 21st place. Plichta now has about 375,000.
