Schaap Slips Up

Ad Schaap
Ad Schaap
Alexander Dovzhenko opened the pot with a raise to 27,000, and Ad Schaap came along with the call, offering up a token, "Wow, maybe I'm on tilt."

Heads up, the flop came {6-Clubs} {10-Clubs} {Q-Hearts}, and Dovzhenko continued out with a bet of 35,000. Schaap had that raising look in his eyes, but he elected to flat-call and see another card. The turn was the {Q-Spades} to pair the board, and both players check-checked this time.

The last card off the deck was the {8-Spades}, and Dovzhenko figured it was time for another bet. He stacked out 50,000 this time and slid them across the line in a tidy tower of yellow chips. Schaap let out a heavy sigh as he eyed up his opponent. After a long pause, he added 65,000 chips to the bet and made a raise to 115,000. Dovzhenko thought it over long and hard before making the call, and Schaap could only show down {A-Diamonds} {K-Spades}. Dovzhenko proudly tabled {A-Spades} {10-Hearts}, his two pair good enough to earn him a nice pot.

That slip drops Ad Schaap down to about 290,000 heading toward the third break.
