Short-stacked Nico Behling shoved first hand and Markio made the call - but when the cars were flipped they both held and following a flush-free board they chopped it up.
The next hand Behling got it in again and this time it was Marcel Koller who made the call.
Kevin MacPhee opened for 140,000 and Ilari Tahkokallio flat-called on the button. Marc Inizan called form the big blind too, and they saw a flop.
Flop:
Inizan checked the rather juicy-looking flop, and MacPhee bet 235,000. Tahkokallio called again and the action moved back to Inizan, who now check-raised to 635,000. MacPhee passed - but Tahkokallio moved all in. Inizan swiftly passed, and Tahkokallio took the pot.
Incidentally our very own expert on Finnish, Gloria Balding, has just informed us that the "kallio" part of Tahkokallio means "rock" (she can't remember what "tahko" means). If he's true to his name, he will have had a real hand there, but we're just going to have to wait for the TV show to find out what he had though...
Marko Neumann raised, but Marcel Koller reraised from the small blind. Neumann folded, and the enthusiastically supported Koller picked up the pot to cheering from the rail, a wide grin spread across his face.
Ketul Nathwani raised to 140,000, and from the small blind Artur Wasek made it 430,000 to go. After a moment, Nathwani made the call. The flop came , and Wasek led out for a full stack of orange chips - bet worth 500,000. Ketul gave it up, and Wasek showed pocket Aces.
Kevin MacPhee opened the pot with a raise to 140,000. Ketul Nathwani called on the button and then Marko Neumann called in the big blind. The flop came down and Neumann checked. MacPhee fired a continuation bet for 235,000. Nathwani called and Neumann folded.
The turn brought the and MacPhee stayed on the accelerator, firing 485,000. After a little while passed, Nathwani put in a raise to 1.555 million. MacPhee reraised enough to commit himself to the pot and risk just about all of Nathwani's chips. Nathwani let it go and dropped to 2.445 million. MacPhee increased his chip lead to 8.485 million and has just about double his next closest competitor.
Marcel Koller raised to 135,000, and Marc Inizan called from the big blind. The flop came , and Inizan bet out 175,000. Koller made the call to see the on the turn. Inizan fired 400,000 this time, and Koller asked Inizan how much he was playing behind. Koller then raised to 1 million. Marc instantly moved all in for a total of 2.37 million, and Koller made the call.
Showdown
Koller: for trip kings
Inizan: for treys full
Whoa. Major cooler. Koller needed a king, queen, or jack to knock out Inizan. The river was the , and Inizan doubled to 4,425,000. Koller is now short with 1.7 million.
Ketul Nathwani raised to 140,000 and then Ilari Tahkokallio three-bet to 350,000. Everyone folded and Tahkokallio raked in the pot. Although it's not much, Tahkokallio is now over five million chips.
