Inizan Moving Up

Marc Inizan
Marc Inizan
Ilari Tahkokallio raised to 230,000 from the button and Marc Inizan called from the small blind. Chip leader Kevin MacPhee was in the big blind and came along to the flop as well.

A three-handed flop of {K-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts} came down and all players checked. The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and Inizan took the initiative. He fired 405,000 and MacPhee called. Tahkokallio folded.

The river completed the board with the {J-Hearts}. Inizan was first and paused for a few moments. He then fired 1.13 million into the middle. After a brief hesitation, MacPhee folded. Inizn moved up to 7.6 million in chips with that pot.

Wasek Fighting Back

Blind on blind, Kevin MacPhee (small) raised to 300,000 and Artur Wasek (big) made the call.

Macphee checked the {3-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} {Q-Spades} flop and then called 300,000 from Wasek. Come the {8-Diamonds} MacPhee checked again - and this time he folded to a 560,000 bet from the Pole.

Artur Wasek limped the button and then Ilari Tahkokallio completed from the big blind. Marc Inizan checked in the big blind and the flop came down {J-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. Tahkokallio was first up and bet 170,000. Inizan folded and then Wasek insta-raised to 1.1 million. Tahkokallio folded and Wasek won the pot. He's now up to 3.5 million.

Ilari Tahks the Chip Lead

Massive pot ahead! Proceed with caution!

Kevin MacPhee raised to 230,000, and both Ilari Tahkokallio and Marc Inizan call.

Flop: {J-Clubs} {6-Spades} {5-Diamonds} - Tahkokallio and Inizan both check, and MacPhee bets 460,000. Tahkokallio calls quickly, and Inizan comes along for the ride.

Turn: {3-Diamonds} - Tahkokallio bets out 725,000, and Inizan raises to 2 million. Oh boy. No snap fold from MacPhee here. He leans back in chair and looks sick about the decision, the first time we've seen him anything but confident today. Finally he gives it up. Action back on Tahkokallio, he announces that he's all in for a total of 8.125 million. Inizan folds, shipping the 4.835 million already in the middle to Ilari. After the hand, MacPhee said he folded pocket kings.

For the first time since the end of Day 3, Kevin MacPhee is not the chip leader. Tahkokallio is out in front now with 12.2 million to MacPhee's 8.4 million. Inizan is down to 4.5 million.

MacPhee On the March Back

Since giving up the chip lead a little while ago, Kevin MacPhee has been on the move trying to get his chips back. He's won the three hands following the hand where he lost the chip lead and is back to about 9.5 million chips.

No Stalling Here

Normally, televisied final tables are slow and boring for the most part. Well, not the one at the EPT Berlin. Each hand has had some great action. If it's not a raise and a three-bet, the hand will have three players to the flop in a raised pot. There's been numerous seven-figure pots and the chips are changing hands regularly.

Also of note is that these hands aren't being played slowly. The players are acting rather quickly with each decision and moving the game along nicely. It's great to watch and enjoy. Don't forget that you can check out the live feed as well on EPT Live. We've already halved the field at the final table and no one seems to be slowing down!
