Dhorasoo Takes a Hit

Macphee spikes the lucky nine ball
Macphee spikes the lucky nine ball
PokerStars player Kevin Macphee found his stack in the middle holding two nines. Vikash Dhorasoo was his opponent and he held the best of it with two queens, for now at least.

We say for now, because the board was run out {A-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Macphee spiked a nine on the river to stay alive. He was all in for 294,000 and now has over 600,000. Dhorasoo dropped to 650,000.

Dhorasoo formerly player professional soccer in France where he was a midfielder. He played for the French national team at the 2006 World Cup in Germany. In 2009, Dhorasoo placed eleventh in the WCOOP Main Event on PokerStars for $75,000.
