Mads Wissing Eliminated in 11th Place (155,000 DKK)

In the cutoff seat, Anton Wigg open-raised to 47,000. Francesco De Vivo made the call on the button, and Mads Wissing came along from the big blind as well.

Three-handed then, the flop came down {9-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} {9-Hearts}. First to speak, Wissing led out with a bet of 85,000. Wigg quickly passed, but De Vivo made the flat call without much hesitation.

Fourth street was the {3-Clubs}, and it drew another bet from Wissing, 140,000 this time. Once more, De Vivo matched the bet with a smooth call.

The river came the {J-Hearts}, and Wissing reached for chips again. After a minute of contemplation, he settled on, "All in," shoving for about 580,000 total. De Vivo apparently had a thinking hand, and he studied his opponent silently for a minute or two. Finally, he announced, "I call," promptly flipping over his {9-Clubs} {10-Clubs}.

Wissing sat motionless in his chair, staring down at the board. It was a look of utter shock, seemingly frozen in time and space. De Vivo began to celebrate, everyone now certain that the longest slowroll ever wasn't coming, and Wissing was indeed beaten. He remained stuck in his chair as the chips were counted and pushed to De Vivo before finally standing and making his way to the payout desk. He'll take 155,000 DKK for his 11th-place showing this week.

Petersen Doubles Through Guldhammer

Jesper Petersen must have been in a shove-y kind of mood. Just a few hands after pushing all in to a raise from Loth (Loth folded), and he found himself all in again, this time against Morten Guldhammer. The all in was for just over 900,000.

Guldhammer: {A-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds}
Petersen: {A-?} {K-Clubs}

Board: {6-Hearts} {9-Clubs} {8-Spades} {3-Hearts} {2-Diamonds}

Guldhammer looked a little surprised that he hadn't hit. Nevertheless Petersen doubled to 1.9 million, and Guldhammer dipped below the 3 million mark.

Andrew Teng Eliminated in 12th Place (155,000 DKK)

The very next hand, Magnus Hansen raised to 47,000 from the button and Andrew Teng shoved for his last 350,000 or so form the small blind. Hansen looked down at the felt and possibly deep into his soul - and after a while he called.

Hansen: {A-Clubs} {J-Clubs}
Teng: {K-Spades} {Q-Diamonds}

Board: {A-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {3-Clubs} {5-Hearts} {8-Diamonds}

Teng looked a little shell-shocked as he headed for the payout desk. Nevertheless, he has 12th place money to console himself with (which sounds like an awful lot in kroner), and for everyone else the final table creeps ever closer.

Teng and Hansen Flip a Coin

First in from the small blind, Magnus Borg Hansen raised it up to 55,000. In the big, Andrew Teng three-bet to 130,000. Hansen thought for just a moment before announcing, "All in," and Teng called without delay.

Showdown
Hansen: {9-Diamonds} {9-Clubs}
Teng: {A-Clubs} {K-Hearts}

It was your classic coinflip for a million chips, Hansen slightly ahead but at risk of elimination.

Flop: {J-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} {5-Hearts}. Anton Wigg piped up from the next seat over: "It's allllllways a sweat, isn't it?"

The turn {2-Spades} was safe for Hansen, and the {Q-Clubs} that rivered drew a strong clap of the hands and pump of the fists from the newly-doubled player. He's up to close to 1.1 million now, while Teng drops all the way back to 363,000.

Romanello Doubles Through Wigg

Andrew Teng opened for 47,000 in the cutoff and Anton Wigg called behind on the button. Big blind Roberto Romanello decided to give a flop a spin, too, and made the call.

Flop: {6-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {2-Hearts}

Romanello checked and Teng bet 80,000. Wigg flat-called behind and the action moved back to Romanello, who quietly raised to 201,000. Teng folded without delay, but Wigg announced all in to cover Romanello. Call.

Wigg: {Q-Clubs} {J-Spades} for top pair
Romanello: {K-Hearts} {10-Hearts} for a flush

Turn: {2-Diamonds}

"Oh s***," said Romanello, anticipating an outdraw, but he had nohting to worry about.

River: a completely blank {5-Diamonds}

Romanello, who's had a terrible day so far, is now back in the game on 1.3 million.

Damien Fouquet Eliminated in 13th Place (120,000 DKK)

Under the gun, Morten Guldhammer opened to 60,000. A few seats over, the likewise-big-stacked Damien Fouquet made a three-bet to 150,000. Guldhammer called, the the two chip leaders were off to the flop.

It came {10-Clubs} {J-Hearts} {6-Diamonds}, and Guldhammer led right out with a bet of 200,000. Fouquet didn't waste any time moving all in for 1.512 million, and Guldhammer's call came in an instant! Just like that, a pot of more than 3 million chips was up for grabs! Cards on their back, gents:

Guldhammer: {10-Spades} {J-Diamonds}
Fouquet: {K-Spades} {K-Clubs}

It was quite a situation we had on our hands. Guldhammer had outflopped Fouquet's overpair, the latter in very serious danger of tumbling down and out of the tournament entirely.

The {2-Clubs} on the turn was no help to Fouquet, other than giving him three more outs to make a better two pair. When the raggy {Q-Diamonds} filled out the board, an awkward celebration followed from Guldhammer. The two men shook hands, Fouquet visibly stricken by what had just transpired.

After winning by far the biggest pot of the tournament thus far, Guldhammer has opened up an enormous chip lead with 3.653 million!

Hansen Takes a Chunk Out of Romanello

Roberto Romanello raised on the button and Magnus Hansen called in the big blind. As is traditional, they saw a flop.

Flop: {K-Spades} {Q-Spades} {6-Spades}

Hansen checked to Romanello , who bet 36,000. Call.

A turn: {A-Diamonds}

Hansen checked again and this time Romanello bet 86,000. Again, with just the slightest shake of his hand, Hansen made the call.

River: {5-Hearts}

Both players checked and Hansen turned over {10-Spades} {J-Hearts} for a broadway straight. "Nice hand," murmured Romanello, and the pot went to Hansen.

Andrey Vlasenko Eliminated in 14th Place (120,000 DKK)

First into the pot, Andrey Vlasenko open-shoved his shortest stack into the middle. Always good for a call, big stack Morten Guldhammer looked him up, putting the soft-spoken Vlasenko at risk.

Showdown
Vlasenko: {A-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds}
Guldhammer: {Q-Hearts} {10-Hearts}

The flop found Guldhammer as it came out {J-Clubs} {5-Spades} {Q-Diamonds}. The {9-Diamonds} on the turn actually took three outs back from Vlasenko, unable to win with a king. The river was the {Q-Spades} in any event, and Guldhammer's trips are good enough to knock off yet another player. Vlasenko will take home 120,000 DKK for his work this week, while Guldhammer has risen to the chip lead with about 1.9 million.
