Queens Still No Good For Romanello

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

Not long ago we reported a hand where Roberto Romanello got his money in with a pair of queens against ace-king and lost. Well history has just repeated itself but this time Joseph El Khoury was the man to benefit from the Welshman's misfortune.

El Khoury raised to 6,000 from early position and Romanello, next to act, re-raised to 15,000. The action folded back to El Khoury who quickly moved all in for what turned out to be 61,900. Romanello quickly called and it was off to the races;

Romanello: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

El Khoury: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

The first card out on the flop was the {k-Spades} giving El Khoury a huge advantage and he stayed ahead as the other four community cards fell {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Spades} to put him on 158,000 and drop Romanello to 230,000
