Ion Pavel opened to 56,000 in the cutoff but Richard Toth on the button decided to make it 110,000 to go. The blinds folded but Pavel made an uncharacteristically quick call - within a minute or so.
Both players checked the 
flop and 
turn. Pavel checked the 
river as well but this time Toth bet 110,000. Pavel called again with remarkable alacrity (perhaps we misjudged his tanking capabilities earlier) and Toth just mucked before Pavel had even shown his pocket 
.
Toth dropped to around a million in chips; Pavel increased to 1.2 million.
