Toth Toppled

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Team PokerStars pro Richard Toth has been crippled and left with just 280,000 chips after running into Emilliano Bono just moments ago.

Toth opened on the button to 50,000 and Bono quickly moved all in, causing Sanchez to fold in the big blind. With the action back on Toth, he first asked for a count and was informed it would be another 531,000 to call. Around a minute later he made the call and both players revealed their hands.

Bono: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

Toth: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}

The flop came down {7-Spades}{q-Spades}{10-Spades} keeping Toth in front but also giving Bono outs to a straight and the nut flush. Toth pleased with the Poker Gods to let his nines hold.

Turn: {8-Hearts} - Toth's nines were still in front

River: {6-Spades} - Disaster for the Hungarian as the six of spades on the river improves Bono to a flush and the best hand.

After a rather over the top celebration from Bono he shook Toth's hand and stacked his 1,200,000 stack up.
