An enormous hand on the feature table, but it ultimately came to nothing.

Robert Haigh raised and got called by Marcel Koller (button), Alexander Debus (small blind) and Johannes Strassmann (big blind); there was 174,000 in the pot when they saw a flop.

Flop: {J-Diamonds}

It checked around to Koller who bet 113,000. Back to Debus - who now check-raised. Koller pushed for 773,000, Debus called, and they were on their backs.

It was not actually clear which of the two players held the spades, but as it was the turn and river ran out {3-Diamonds}

respectively so they chopped the pot up. Koller looked like the more relieved of the two at the end of the hand.

Baekke Finds Aces

From the cutoff seat, Allan Baekke opened the pot to 34,000 before Johannes Holstege three-bet to 79,000 from the button. When the blinds folded, Baekke came right back over the top with a four-bet to 157,000, and Holstege moved all in for 642,000. Snap-call! Monster pot. Cards up.

Cainelli Getting Hot Under the Koller

Up on the feature table, Marcel Koller raised and it folded around to Luca Cainelli in the small blind who re-popped for 82,000. With barely a second's thought, Koller four-bet another 150,000 on top of Cainelli's reraise, and after a few moments spent looking uncomfortable, Cainelli passed.

Bitter Medesan for Naim to Swallow

Official shortie starting the day, Alain Medesan wasted little time in shipping his last across the line, and got looked up by Cyril Naim in the big blind.
