A Bad Riet Seldom Goes Unpunished

Tim van der Riet opened with a late-position raise, and Mario Puccini three-bet to 5,700 from the blinds. When it came back to the original raiser, he moved all in for about 30,000 total. Puccini didn't waste too much time making the call with a very similar stack to our eyes. He was, in fact, just slightly covered, and the cards were promptly on their backs:

Van der Riet: {4-Hearts} {5-Hearts}
Puccini: {J-Clubs} {J-Spades}

The flop was, well, pretty damn nice for van der Riet. It came out {5-Spades} {5-Clubs} {Q-Clubs}, vaulting him into a huge lead with the triple fives. Puccini stood up from his chair and began to collect his belongings as a potentially helpful {7-Clubs} landed on fourth street. That gave him the flush draw to work with, and the {K-Clubs} that rivered was a fine sight indeed.

Four clubs on board give Puccini the comeback flush, and he's notched a big double up. Van der Riet, on the other hand, is left with just a couple small chips to play with.
