Selin Yourself Short

Attention all players at Patrick Selin's table! Shaun Deeb, Fatima de Melo, Richard Gryko, we're talking to you!

Mr. Patrick Selin has put a bounty of €1,000 on his own head. Ok, so maybe it's not big bucks if you've already coughed up €10,000 to play today, but hey, don't knock it. That'll buy you a good few Monte Carlo cheeseburgers.

"The Camel" Takes A Sip

Last hand of the level saw the small blind limp in but Keith Hawkins bumped it up to 450 and got called.

Both checked the {4-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} flop, before Hawkins lead out for 600 on the {4-Hearts} turn and 1,100 on the {6-Spades} river. Hawkins was called both times and flipped {K-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} to scoop the pot.

Pagano Jr. in Possession of a Fun-Size Stack

Luca Pagano has had a pretty unhappy first couple of levels - he was down to around half his starting stack when we caught up with him.

He got a little of it back check-raising to 1,350 from the small blind to a 625 bet from the gent on the button; the button folded. Even so, though, he's still nowhere near what he started with, on 17,500 right now.

Mitchell Smacked by Aces

James Mitchell raised preflop and called a reraise to 1,500 from the gentleman in the big blind to see an {A-Spades} {K-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} flop, and then called the 2,000 the big blind bet out.

Both players checked the {J-Clubs} turn but come the {7-Spades} river Mr. Big Blind bet out another 6,000. Mitchell paid up, but quietly mucked when his opponent turned over {A-Clubs} {A-Hearts}.

The Irish Open champ is down to 11,500.

Rousso Doubles

On the brink of making an exit, Vanessa Rousso moved all-in following a 6,000 bet from her opponent. The board read {j-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{7-Spades}.

Rousso: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Opponent: {A-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

The board ran out {5-Hearts}{6-Spades} and Rousso found a double up to stay alive.

"I would have been real upset if that would have beat me," she said raking in the chips.

She then turned to the player on her right and said, "I just had this feeling I would flop a set."

Negreanu Wins One

With the board reading {2-Spades}{6-Spades}{10-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, an opponent in the cutoff made it 3,500. Daniel Negreanu made the call, taking the two to the river.

Both players checked the {10-Diamonds} river and Negreanu took the pot with {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

He now sits with around 40,000.
