Levi Duty

With perhaps 50,000 in the pot by the river of the {8-Spades} {4-Clubs} {A-Spades} {2-Hearts} {10-Clubs} board, Nicolas Levi (small blind) bet out 22,600. His opponent (button) thought about it for a long time before tossing in the call - and then mucked when Levi turned over {A-Clubs} {Q-Clubs}.

With that, the Man With The Hat is up to 200,000.

Eugene Gets Kaught

Eugene Katchalov has been eliminated after he saw a three-way flop of {10-?} {10-Hearts} {6-Hearts} board.

The was a bet and a call in front of him and he pushed for 56,000 with {K-Clubs} {10-Clubs}. The initial raiser somehow found a call with {A-Hearts} {7-Hearts} and after an {A-?} on the turn, the {Q-Hearts} came on the river though to knock him out.

Don't Have A Cao Man!

Rui Cao just managed a double up when his {K-Clubs} {Q-Spades} managed to hold against {A-Clubs} {9-Hearts} after the board came: {5-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {K-Spades} {6-Spades} {A-Spades}. A moment of semi-shock until Cao noticed he made the flush on the river.

Judah Don't Make It Bad

Juan Manuel Pastor opened for 5,200 and the gentleman on the button flat-called before Mel Judah reraised to 33,000 form the small blind, just 35,000 more behind. Pastor folded, but the button announced all in, and Judah called.

Judah: {A-Spades} {K-Spades}
Button Gentleman: {Q-Spades} {Q-Diamonds}

Board: {A-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} {2-Spades} {4-Spades} ("Five!" cried Mr. Button) {6-Clubs}

Judah doubled to 150,000. "I folded tens," said Pastor unprompted.

Veldhuis Gets Busy

Busy bee
Busy bee
Lex Veldhuis raised to 4,800 and the gentleman in the cutoff called to see a {10-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} flop. Veldhuis bet out 6,800 but eased off the gas hen his opponent called - they both checked the {6-Clubs} turn, and then checked again on the {9-Spades} river. Veldhuis announced, "Nine," and turned over {Q-Clubs} {9-Hearts}. His opponent laughed in a not-amused sort of way and mucked.

A few hands later and we found Veldhuis getting involved again. It looked as though the small blind had raised and Veldhuis had re-popped from the big. Either way, the raise in front of Mr. Small Blind was 14,000 when Veldhuis shoved for what was after some time and considerable dealer effort ascertained to be 102,700.

The small blind now tanked up as a wall of media personnel crowded around the table. Said Veldhuis: "I think you're gonna fold but you don't like it so you want to make me stack all my chips." Then after a moment, "Or you have aces."

Eventually the small blind folded. "Show five-deuce!" shouted a railer, but no-one showed anything. Veldhuis is up to 120,000.
