Perrins Caught

With the board reading {K-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} {6-Spades} {K-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} Roger Hairabedian was facing a 116,000 bet from the new chip leader, Matt Perrins.

The bet represented about 40% of Hairabedian's stack but he made the call and Perrins immediately mucked. Hairabedian proudly showed {5-Spades} {4-Hearts} to win the pot.

Coren Steamed

Matthew Szymaszek got his last 172,000 all in preflop with {A-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} and found himself dominated by Vicky Coren's {A-Diamonds} {K-Spades}. Too bad for her, the board ran out {J-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} {4-Clubs}, delivering Szymaszek a runner-runnder straight. After doubling him up, Coren is down to around 355,000.

Perrins Wins Biggest Pot of Tournament

Kenny Hallert made it 38,000 to go preflop before Domenico Iannone bumped it up to 98,000. Matt Perrins then reraised to 220,000. Hallaert then kicked it up a notch to 370,000 and Iannone folded before Perrins moved all-in.

Hallaert made the call and insta-turned over his hand showing {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}. Perrins flipped over {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}.

The flop brought the {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, but it was the case king (Iannone said he folded ace-king), the {k-Clubs}, on the turn that made Hallaert run from the table disgusted at the poker gods. The river was the {2-Diamonds}, which meant Hallaert was sent to the rail and Perrins is up to 2.6 million.
