Claudiu Saizus Up

Jean Francois Talbot opened for 55,000 from the cutoff and got called by both Sami Kelopuro on the button and Claudiu Saizu in the small blind to see a {4-Spades} {4-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} flop. Saizu checked and Talbot very quickly bet 80,000. Kelopuro folded immediately, but Saizu now made it 225,000 to go.

Talbot looked as though he was really considering it, but in the end he passed.

Feature Table Shove-aments

Moderate action up on the feature table as David Sesso raised and Nick Schulman shoved for 443,000. It went no further, though, as Sesso folded and gave Schulman the pot.

A few moments later and Laurent Olive raised to 70,000 only for Salvatore Bonavena to insta-shove from the button for 375,000. Olive folded, and again the rail was denied a showdown.

Jelassi Longer

Ramzi Jelassi reraised all-in from the blinds against Claudiu Saizu late position raise and the Romanian made the call.

Jelassi might have been concerned that his {A-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} was vulnerable but he was ahead of his opponent's {Q-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds}. "The gambler from Romania," said Jelassi.

The board came {2-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {3-Spades} {3-Diamonds} {5-Hearts} and Jelassi survived a turn scare to double up to about 800,000.

Finn-ishing Time

Sami Kelopuro has not been in any big showdown hands so far, but he has been quietly building his stack over the last hour.

He 3-bet the button to 186,000 against Jean Francois Talbot's cutoff raise of 75,000 to win one pot.

Soon after he fired turn and river of a {Q-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {8-Hearts} {4-Spades} {9-Diamonds} for 93,000 and 213,000 respectively against Claudiu Saizu. The Romanian called the turn bet, but instantly folded when the Finn fired the river. Kelopuro is up to about 1.8 million
