Wim Bos came in today as the shortest stack in the field and it was going to be tough for him to survive without a little luck.
Iulian Ruxandescu set Bos all-in from the small blind with 
and Bos made the call for his life with

and Ruxandescu made two pair, more than enough to bust the Dutchman.
Big stack, check. Playing great, check. Running well, check. Kevin Vandersmissen is ticking all the boxes that are required to become an EPT Chmapion at the moment as Gabriele Lepore has just discovered.
Lepore opened from the hijack to 24,000 and when it folded to Vandersmissen in the small blind he made it 64,000 to play. Back to Lepore and the Italian moved all in for 140,000 and he was snapped off by Vandersmissen.

Cristian Tardea fired out 100,000 on the river of a 
board, Giacomo Maisto made the call and then surprisingly Manilo Iemina made an overcall as well.
Tardea looked a little surprised but turned over 
for a rivered full house and both Italians mucked, disappointed.
Berhard Perner has just doubled up through the Romanian Iulian Ruxandescu over on Table 2.
Perner moved all in from under the gun for 140,000 chips and was quickly called by Ruxandescu from the big blind. The board ran out 
and Perner's 
prevailed against the 
of his opponent.
Alex Kravchenko opened to 29,000 under the gun and to his immediate left Manilo Iemina went all in. It folded around to Giacomo Maisto in the small blind, who now reshoved. Kravchenko gave it some serious thought, clutching his middle in a rather Napoleonic pose, before shaking his head and folding; Maisto and Iemina turned their cards over.

Iemina had a bit of a sweat ahead of him, but his aces ultimately held on the 
board and he doubled to around 550,000.
Hans Erlandsson had raised and Bernhard Perner three-bet to around 65,000 by the time we got there; after a little tanking Erlandsson called.
They saw a 
flop and Erlandsson immediately announced all in to cover Perner, who had left himself with around 250,000 behind. Perner now commenced an epic dwell-up, which culminated five or six minutes later with him calling the clock on himself. Around halfway through his allotted minute he finally folded, and thereby bumped Erlandsson's stack up to 580,000.
PokerStars qualifier Denis Murphy is having some serious swings, having previously doubled up earlier he dropped back down to 176,000 and moved all-in preflop. Team PokerStars Pro Alex Kravchenko made the call from the cutoff and everyone else folded.

The board was reading 
and Cristian Dragomir fired out 126,000 on the river while Vladimir Geshkenbein was debating the call. It looked as though for all intents and purposes the call was about to be made but at the last second the Russian changed his mind and folded.
Dragomir triumphantly turned over for a busted flush draw.
The players are about to break but one man who will not be coming back is Berhard Perner because he has just been eliminated.
Joining the action on a board, Kevin Vandersmissen bet 25,000 only to see Perner make it 60,000 to play. With the action back on Vandersmissen he moved a stack of blue 10,000 chips, worth 500,000, passed the betting line to put Perner all in.
Perner stood up from his seat and checked out the information displayed on the big screens around the tournament area, presumably to check the payouts, then he sat down and called.

An eight and only an eight would save Perner from elimination but it was not to be as the fell on the river and we are down to just 20 players in the Main Event
