Apostolos Chatzopoylos raised to 5,200 in the hijack seat and Roger Hairabedian called in the big blind. The pair shared a flop of which they both checked. The turn brought out the and Hairabedian check-called a 6,100 Chatzopoylos bet. Then to end the action we saw the and Hairabedian made a small bet of 7,000. Chatzopoloylos made a raise to 20,200 and Hairabedian called and mucked when he saw his opponents hand.
Grudi Grudev was playing a big pot against Hauke Heseding, betting 60,000 (an almost potsized bet) on the river of the board. This represented around 75% of Heseding's stack but the German made the call, Grudev flipped for the straight to win the pot. He's over the 300,000 mark.
Rupert Elder is up to 330,000 after he called three streets on a board against Besania Antoni, who barreled all the way, finally betting 39,000 on the river. Elder made a crying call but found that his had outflopped her to take the sizeable pot.
Team PokerStars Pro Toni Judet raised to 5,200 on the button and Stelios Drosos defended his big blind. The board was soon displaying a rainbow flop of and it created quite a lot of action. Drosos checked to Judet who c-bet 7,100 and when the action returned to Drosos he check-raised to 19,900. This left Drosos with 130,000 behind and Judet wondering what to make of this polarised move. In the end Judet decided to continue with the hand and he made it 40,000 to play and Drosos folded his bluff.
Ilias Zografos raised to 5,200 on the button and Charalampos Kapernopoulos three-bet out of the small blind making it 12,000 to play - Zografos made the call. Our flop was the and both players rapped the felt with their knuckles. Out popped the on the turn and Kapernopoulos bet 15,000 and Zografos called. The river card was the and Kapernopoulos checked to Zografos and he bet 20,000. Back to the bead twirling Kapernopoulos and he check-raised to 55,000 and Zografos snap-called.
Kapernopoulos flipped over for the straight and Zografos mucked with a shake of his head.
Yosef Kashi's table had broken but he was 'umm-ing' and 'ahh-ring' about which table he was meant to sitting down on. David Vamplew and Kevin MacPhee though were of the opinion that Kashi was simply trying to delay sitting down to avoid having to come in on the big blind.
Eventually he sat down and then (almost obviously!) found a hand to move all in with against Jason Wheeler's cutoff raise to 6,500, Wheeler folded. Maybe it is a good seat?
