We didn't see it happen ourselves, but our colleagues tell us that Johnny Lodden was two-outed from the tournament just before the break. Pocket tens looked good against an opponent's pocket fives, but a third five on board marked a disastrous end to his day.

First into the pot from the cutoff seat, David Peters opened the pot to 6,300. Next door, Vesa Leikos three-bet to 16,400, and the table folded back around to Peters. At this point, he had just about 140,000 chips left in front of him, a fact which would come into play later on. He shoved in, and Leikos made the call for his last 115,600 total.
Showdown
Peters:
Leikos:
The board ran out , and Leikos had found his double.
Well, almost. Here's where things got interesting. Peters pulled back his original 6,300-chip raise while the dealer counted down Leikos' stack. When she did, she arrived at the number 99,200, forgetting to include the extra 16,400 that was standing separately on the felt. Peters paid off that 99,200, and the dealer pushed the pot to Leikos. Everything except the 16,400 that was still orphaned in the middle of the table. Instead, she slid those chips back in to Peters' stack as he was stacking back up, and it appears that neither player realized the mistake.
It ends up being a 32,800-chip swing for both players, certainly a significant amount.
There's a lesson in there for players who are inexperienced in live tournament poker: always make sure.

From under the gun, Mike McDonald raised to 6,600. Action folded to Max Silver in the cutoff seat and he tossed out 6,500. The dealer let him know it was an extra 100 to call and he added that before the two blinds folded.
The flop came down and McDonald check-called a bet of 8,200 from Silver. The turn brought the and McDonald checked again. Silver fired 22,800 and McDonald called. That brought the on the river. McDonald checked and Silver bet 31,400. McDonald called.
Silver tabled the for the bottom end of the straight. McDonald held the higher end with the and won the pot.
Silver claimed to have mis-clicked preflop, not seeing McDonald's opening raise and thinking he was raising himself.

Lebanon's Ramez Haddad's has always been a friendly face to us here at PokerNews, and we're sad to see him go. Haddad began the day with just shy of 100,000 chips, and we've just watched him stand up following his elimination. He caught our eye and gave the universal sign for a poker elimination, the finger-slicing-throat motion.
Haddad is out, and Lebanon has three players left in contention: Nicolas Chouity, Dany Richa, and Walid Bou-Habib.
