Rupert the Elder, Arnaud the Pro and Kinzel the Bag of Nerves

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante
Rupert Elder - on his way back?
Rupert Elder - on his way back?

Yulius Sepman delivered a hammer blow to Rupert Elder early in level one but he is experienced enough to be able to recover. The European Poker Tour San Remo winner has around 15,000 chips and we just saw him adding a few more to that number.

A very nervous and obviously inexperienced Sven Kinzel limped from early position and Team PokerStars Pro Arnaud Mattern made an isolation raise of 700 from the hi-jack. A few folds later and Rupert Elder called from the big blind before Kinzel took the triumvirate to the flop.

Flop: {10-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {2-Clubs}

Elder checked to Kinzel who let his nerves get the better of him when he made a string bet and the Dealer confirmed that the motion had to be declared as a call. Mattern raised it up to 1,550, Elder called and Kinzel folded.

Turn: {7-Hearts}

Checkity-checkity

River: {10-Hearts}

Elder took 2,200 from a stack of 7,000 and moved them across the line and Mattern insta-mucked.
