Pull Your Trousers Up [Removed:250]

Andrew Pantling raised to 4,500, under the gun, and [Removed:247] defended his big blind. The flop was {J-Clubs} {4-Spades} {2-Clubs} and both players checked. On the turn we had the {7-Spades} and the same action ensued before both players found themselves at the river. The dealer gave them the {5-Spades} and [Removed:250] bet 13,000 and Pantling made the call. [Removed:250] turned over {Q-Spades} {3-Spades} for the flush, Pantling mucked his hand and [Removed:250] got up to talk to his friends at the next table, but his pants started to fall down prompting roars of laughter from his table mates. [Removed:250] recovered his modesty to stack his 120,000 chips; Pantling has 210,000.

Soulier Cracks The Aces of Martinez

Fabrice Soulier raised to 4,500, under gun, and the action folded around to Max Martinez who three-bet to 16,200. Back to Soulier, whose legs were twitching ten to a dozen, and he four-bet to 24,000. Martinez then moved all-in and Soulier made the call. When the cards were overturned, Soulier was heading out of the EPT Grand Final.

Soulier{Q-Spades} {Q-Clubs}
Martinez{A-Clubs} {A-Diamonds}

Flop: {Q-Hearts} {4-Spades} {3-Clubs}

Soulier doesn't budge but Martinez looked sick.

The turn {K-Hearts} and river {7-Spades} maintained Soulier's unlikely lead and he doubled up to 210,000; Martinez was down to 65,000.

Chips to Play With Now

Javier Garcia was down to just 4,200 chips and in the small blind. Adam Levy opened to 7,200 and Garcia called all-in blind. The big blind folded to leave it heads up.

Levy: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Garcia: {3-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

"Wow, I like that hand" said Scott Seiver pointing at Garcia's hand.

The flop came down {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Seiver went "Oooooh."

The {6-Clubs}{j-Clubs} turn and river didn't help Garcia though and he got up and left.

"I've got chips to play with now!" said Levi managing to get a word in when Seiver paused for breath.

The Ups and Downs of Mickey Petersen

Team PokerStars Online Mickey Petersen had just lost the majority of his chips before we saw him all-in for his tournament life. We believe Petersen lost most of his stack in a pot {K-} {K-} versus {Q-} {Q-} when his opponent hit a queen on a river. Then this happened…

Chanracy Khun held {A-Hearts} {8-Hearts} and Mickey Petersen held {K-Spades} {J-Spades} when the money went in. Petersen only had 14,000 by this point, but it was soon to be 30,000 after hitting the board {K-Clubs} {5-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {J-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} to double up. Khun was left with 130,000.

Snippets From the Floor

  • Jason Wheeler gave up in a hand against Clayton Mozdzen. Wheeler raised to 4,500 from the hijack and was only called by the Canadian, in position in the cut-off. The flop fell {2-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and Wheeler bet 5,500 but folded to Mozdzen's raise to 16,000.
  • Sandra Naujoks is on the up. She bet 12,700 on the river of a {6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{a-Hearts} board and waited three minutes for Gaelle Baumann to fold.
  • Johnny Lodden is on the down. His whole tournament has been up and down, and right now it's not heading in the right direction. He was three-way to {4-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop and was the only player to call Reza Mostafavi Tabatabaei's 6,000 bet. From there both players checked through the {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs} turn and river before Tabatabaei opened {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and took the pot as the Team PokerStars Pro folded.
