Two Exits Just Before the Break

Heinz Kamutzki is up to 250,000 after he won a flip with {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} against Rens Feenstra's {2-Spades}{2-Hearts} when the board came {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}.

Elsewhere Team PokerStars Pro Henrique Pinho has been knocked out by Mat Frankland when all the chips went in preflop. Frankland's {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} stayed ahead of the Portuguese player's {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} on a {J-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} board.

River Saves Ziyard

On the turn of a {3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{4-Hearts}{J-Spades} board, Zimnan Ziyard bet 10,500 before Randal Flowers check-raised to 27,000. Ziyard quickly called to see the {A-Spades} on the river which brought out four to the straight and made the backdoor flush.

Flowers checked and Ziyard, the American showing {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for a flopped set saying, "That river saved you."

Lucky Sevens for Duda

In a blind-versus-blind confrontation, Kai Herold was all in from the big for 72,000 and up against Antonin Duda.

Showdown
Duda: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Herold: {K-Spades}{10-Clubs}

The {9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop left Herold wanting, while the {J-Clubs} turn gave him a gut-shot straight draw to go with his overs. Unfortunately for him, the {8-Hearts} river wasn't what he needed and he left with a min-cash in hand.

Dan No Loger the Man

Hila Dan was involved in a large pot with Guy Bachar and facing a bet for all his remaining chips. Around 130,000 chips had made it into the middle by the time the board read {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{2-Clubs}{4-Spades}{6-Diamonds}.

Bachar was first to act from the big blind and he pushed forward enough chips to cover Dan's remaining 110,000. Dan took five minutes and made the call, only to be shown {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for trips. Dan mucked and made his exit.

Guillen Min-Cashes, Continuing Solid August

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Angel Guillen (Day 1b)
Angel Guillen (Day 1b)

Team PokerStars Pro Angel Guillen squeaked into the money with just 17,500 in chips, but his tournament has now come to an end.

Guillen was all in with the {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} on the {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{5-Spades} board against Ilan Boujenah holding the {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}. The river completed the board with the {K-Diamonds} and Guillen was out the door.

Guillen's cash comes after three previous ones this month, so he's on a decent little run here in August. Guillen cashed in the LAPT Colombia Main Event for $3,619 before going on to win the LAPT Colombia High Roller for $30,856. He then took fifth place in the Estrellas High Roller here in Barcelona for €22,400 just a few days ago.

"All In and a Call"

The short stacks are no longer on lock down now that the bubble has burst. On the contrary, the chips are flying as shouts of, "All in and a call," can be heard from all around the room.

In one hand, Stanislav Labutkin moved all in for 31,000 from early position and was called by Kevin Weiland in the small blind.

Showdown
Weiland: {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}
Labutkin: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

It was a race, and Labutkin seemed more than a little excited when his hand held as the board ran out {5-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}.

In another hand, Maltez Fabrice was all in preflop for around 50,000 with {A-Spades}{5-Spades} and way behind the {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} of Jenswolf Weigel. The {3-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop provided no help, but the {5-Diamonds} turn did give him some hope. Fabrice was looking for either an ace or five on the river to stay alive, but it wasn't in the cards as the {7-Hearts} blanked.
