The top player in the Pocket Fives Worldwide Online Poker rankings seems poised for a big live result here in Deauville.

Christopher Brammer has it up close to 200k and is showing no signs of slowing down.

Just recently, we caught the man who calls himself NigDawG online making it 2,200 to open a pot pre-flop.

The player directly to his left three-bet, making it 5,800, but Brammer wasn't shying away, popping it up to 15k total and forcing a fold.

Pagano Not Impressed

Luca Pagano was not too impressed with the way Matthew Haugen played a hand against him. The American opened from mid position and called when Pagano three-bet from the small blind.

The flop fell {8-Clubs} {8-Hearts} {k-Spades} and Pagano led for a 6,200 c-bet. Call. On the {5-Hearts} turn Pagano check-raised to 35,000 after Haughten fired for 15,000. Call. Pagano led for 32,000 on the {9-Hearts} river and was quickly called.

The Team PokerStars Pro opened {a-Spades} {a-Diamonds} but Haugen had somehow got there with {7-Clubs} {6-Clubs} for a back door straight.

Philippe Ma continues to slide down the leader board here in Deauville.

A few moments ago he got caught up in a massive pre-flop raising war with Vadzim Kursevich that stalled after Ma made it 17,600 and Kursevich bumped it up to 36,000 total.

Mas spent a good three minutes in the tank before eventually folding to fall under 80k.

Brammer Busts Bevand

We arrived at Christopher Brammer's table and found him in the tank.

Manuel Bevand was all in for 32,300 on a {10-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} {7-Spades} board. Before we got a chance to count up what was in the pot, Brammer called with {K-Spades} {J-Clubs} . He was drawing against Bevand's {10-Spades} {9-Clubs} and got there when the turn brought the {8-Hearts} .

Bevand found no help from the {A-Diamonds} river and has been eliminated.
