The European Poker Tour event in Sanremo is one of a number major poker festivals in Italy organised by Pagano Events, the family business of the Team PokerStars Pro Luca Pagano.
The one-hour delay for the EPTLive broadcast means that time travel is possible in Sanremo. Although the television feed is in the past, PokerStars Blog boasts that they can visit the future.

Angelo Recchia raised to 160,000 from the cutoff with and Jason Tompkins defended from the big blind with . The flop was fairly intimidating, and Tompkins ended up check-folding to a bet of 150,000.
Not too exciting, but it's reminiscent of the sort of hands we've been seeing here in Sanremo as of late.
Jason Lavallee raised to 160,000 from under the gun and it folded all of the way around the table to Micah Raskin in the big blind. He slid out a call and the flop brought . Raskin checked his action on this spade heavy flop and Lavallee checked right behind.
The hit the turn and Raskin led out for 300,000. Lavallee flat called and the brought a fourth spade on the board on the river. Raskin made the same bet as he did on the turn- 300,000 - and Lavallee went into the tank.
Eventually Lavallee called and showed no spades, but rather for top pair. Raskin showed for merely a pair of queens and Lavallee too down the pot.
