On a board of , Melanie Weisner checked to Kayhan Tugrul who bet 2,475. Weisner looked up from her massage and grabbed enough chips to call and dropped them into the middle.
The fell on the river and Weisner checked again. Turgul bet 4,000 and Weisner verbalized a call.
Turgul showed for nothing but nine-high. Weisner showed and her pair of aces took it down. She's currently sitting on about 38,000 in chips.
The pre-flop action at table 46 was massive with most of the players tossing in the 200 big blinds, but Eugene Katchalov's raise to 1,100 in the cutoff made some players change their mind. Still, Katchalov received 4 calls in Sofia Lovgren, Simone Gatto, Pavel Cheremisin and Enrico Etienne Rudelitz.
The five players saw the flop go and all checked. Then Gatto decided to take over on the turn betting 2,800. Cheremisin folded while Rudelitz made the call. Katchalov and Lovgren got out of the way as well and the two remaining players saw come on the river.
Rudelitz bet 4,825 and Gatto called. The first one showed while Gatto opened for a two pair and collected the pot.
Liv Boeree is having a jolly old time on her old and very happy stomping grind.
Six players stumped up the required amount to see the flop come down (John Duthie and Roberto Romanello included). Matthew Keikoan led for 1,000 from the small blind and he was called by the original aggressor and Boeree from the small blind.
The turn fell and the original aggressor bet 2,525, only to be called by Boeree. A third diamond appeared on the river and both players checked. Boeree had got there with to beat out her opponent's .
To the inexperienced one tournament field looks like another. But on closer inspection the various species of player reveal themselves, all of whom believe that their name will be next on the EPT trophy.

A middle position player opened with a raise to 400 and Vanessa Rousso called from the cutoff. It folded to the small blind who called as well. Giorgia Tabet three-bet to 1,800 from the big blind and the original raiser folded. Rousso made a four-bet to 4,800 which caused the small blind to quickly throw away his hand.
Tabet thought for over a minute before finally tapping the table in defeat and giving Rousso the pot.
Eric Qu limped from the button only to have Roberto Betbese raise to 700 from the small blind. The big got out of the way, Qu called, and it was heads-up action to the flop.
Betbese was first to act and checked, which opened the door for Qu to bet 1,000. Betbese then woke up with a check-raise to 3,100, Qu called, and the peeled off on the river. Betbese wasted little time in moving all in for his last 11,550, and Qu folded after thinking about it for about a minute.
On a flop of we found Andrea Torri check to Dario Minieri who fired 2,500 into the middle. Torri called and the completed the board. Another check from Torri prompted Minieri to instantly fire 5,400 into the middle, leaving himself with only 5,050 behind. Torri thought for a while before folding face up. Minieri dragged the pot and was all smiles.
After Eddie Tasbas opened for 525 from the hijack, Justin Bonomo three-bet to 1,450 from the cutoff. The button and small blind both folded, and then Denmark's Soren Hansen opted for a four-bet to 3,500 from the big blind. Tasbas got out of the way, Bonomo called, and the duo watched the flop come down .
Hansen led out for 3,500 and then checked the turn after Bonomo had called. The latter tossed out a bet of 6,000, Hansen called, and then both players checked the river. Bonomo tabled , and it was good as Hansen simply mucked his hand. With that, Bonomo increased his stack up to 64,500.
Action folded over to Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu, and he was seated in the hijack seat. Negreanu raised to 400 and received calls from Edwin Salca in the small blind and Ronny Kaiser in the big blind.
The flop came down with both Salca and Kaiser checking over to Negreanu. The Team Pro fired a continuation bet of 750, and Salca called. Kaiser opted to up the amount with a check-raise to 2,000. Negreanu called, then Salca also came along.
On fourth street, the landed. Salca checked, Kaiser bet 4,100, and Negreanu called. Salca gave it up, leaving Negreanu and Kaiser the only two to see the river.
The completed the board, and Kaiser checked. Negreanu checked behind and it was time for the showdown.
Kaiser showed the , and Negreanu tabled the . Both held the same hand and chopped up the pot.
