Action Abundant at Table 10

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

We recently witnessed back-to-back hands at Table 10 that saw the elimination of two players.

In the first, Daniel Bass was all in before the flop for his last roughly 40,000 against big stack Michel Pecheux. Bass held {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades} but was crushed by Pecheux's {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}.

Bass found some hope by flopping an open-ended straight draw after {J-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{K-Clubs}, but nothing materialized as running deuces (the {2-Diamonds} and {2-Clubs}) came on the following streets. Bass was sent packing and Pecheux scooped up a pot that brought him up to about 730,000.

The very next hand, action folded around to Mario Vojvoda who moved all in from the small blind. Igor Izmaylov peeked at his cards and snapped him off, calling for his own tournament life. Vojvoda showed {K-Clubs}{8-Clubs} but threw his hands up in the air in disbelief when Izmaylov rolled over the best possible hand - {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}.

Vojvoda's disappointment would only be brief, however, as the flop of {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} instantly awarded him with two pair. Izmaylov could only shake his head as the {4-Spades} fell on the turn and the {J-Hearts} on the river, cracking his aces and eliminating him from play. Vojvoda dragged in the pot and now has about 105,000.
