A Flurry of All In and Calls

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Last level of the night and the short stacks don’t have time to wait around.

Sebastian Von Toperczer was back from the break and not looking particularly happy with his 70,000 stack. He’d had to fold his small blind and had a little less. When Mike Watson opened for 17,000 though he found a hand he liked and shoved. He got a call from Watson and turned over his {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades} but was up against the {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}. Von Toperczer would have to come from a long way behind and he did as the cards fell {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Spades}{a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. Watson’s set of aces beaten by the flush of Von Toperczer.

Seconds later at another table Walid Bou-Habib was all in with {k-Spades}{q-Spades} and got a call from Madis Müür holding {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. No help for Habib though who bust out when the cards ran out {6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{5-Clubs}

To another table where at risk and all in Pawel Brzeski liked the look of his {a-Spades}{k-Spades} but he didn’t like it much when he say the {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} of Andrey Danilyuk. Brzeski even used his “One time.” but it was to no avail. {q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and that was it for the Polish PokerStars qualifier.
