The Good Ol' Six-Bet-Fold

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Roman Herold raised to 80,000 under the gun plus two and Julian Thomas decided to three-bet to 185,000 from the button. Both blinds folded after which Herold four-bet to 355,000. Thomas was not going anywhere as he five-bet to 525,000. Herold went into the tank for a while before putting out a six-bet up to 875,000!

Thomas quickly moved all in for around 2,000,000 chips and Herold snap-folded. Thomas picked up a massive preflop and is now a lot closer to the chip leader!

Dashgyn Aliev
Dashgyn Aliev

Roman Herold raised under the gun and Dashgyn Aliev put in a big three-bet from the small blind. Herold made the call and the flop brought out {5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}.

Aliev continued on the flop with a 320,000-chip bet and Herold made the call. On the turn the {6-Diamonds} hit and Aliev fired out 500,000. Herold called once again creating a massive pot.

The river brought the {8-Spades} and both players checked. Aliev turned over {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} and raked in this massive pot. He's now the chip leader while Herold slips down to second place.

All Questions With No Aswers

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Since the bust out of Olivier Busquet the outer table has been lacking in flops.

There has been a lot of three-betting but no action beyond that. The average thinking time on decisions is growing by the hand as well.

Matias Kesanen Eliminated in 14th Place (€40,000)

Dashgyn Aliev raised preflop from the cutoff after which Matias Kesanen three-bet to 175,000 from the button. Roman Herold four-bet from the small blind to 330,000 and Aliev quickly folded. Kesanen gave it some thought and proceeded to move all in for 1,380,000. Herold snap-called.

Roman Herold: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Matias Kesanen: {A-Clubs}{10-Spades}

The board ran out {Q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{J-Clubs} and Kesanen was knocked out in 14th place.

Nguyen Straightened Out

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Since Khiem Nguyen moved to the outer table he and Roman Korenev have tangled in a few pre flop raising battles with the honours being even. Just now they played a hand to the end and it was Korenev who came out on top.

The action folded around to Korenev in the small blind and his 90,000 raise was called Nguyen in the big blind. On the {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{k-Clubs} flop Korenev continued for 85,000. Call. Both players checked the {a-Spades} turn before Nguyen tank called a 235,000 bet on the {5-Hearts} river.

Korenev opened {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for a straight and Nguyen folded.

Doing it Pre

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

After Matias Kesanen's elimination we've only seen preflop action at the feature table. A few three-bets were enough to take it down. We're just waiting for another big all in to happen and that's probably not going to take long with the agressive play we've seen this level.

King Frost

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Lasse Frost has managed to double up through Roman Korenev to knock the Russian after his recent good progress.

Frost opened from second position and snap-called all in for 605,000 after Korenev shoved from the big blind.

Korenev: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Frost: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The board ran {5-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}.
