The Chase For The Final Table is On!

Roman Herold
Roman Herold

With just 17 players remaining the final table is in reach for all who still have chips. Chip leader Roman Herold has a big lead over the rest of the field but nothing is set in stone just yet. Everyone who's still in the tournament is guaranteed to make at least €27,000 and the eight finalist will at least get €77,000 if they make it through today.

The German players make out the majority of the remaining players with eight of the top nine coming from the host country. A collection other players is aiming for a place on the final table but the Germans are the heavy favorite. Daniel-Gai Pidun has one of the most interesting stories as he finished 17th last year in this event and ninth the year before.

Kevin Stani is the only remaining EPT winner with a shot at becoming the first ever two-time champion. Top pros Olivier Busquet and Calvin Anderson are among the shortest stacks but both still have a good chance at making the final table.
