Boeree, MacPhee Bust Almost Simultaneously

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante
Today it's mostly been Liv and let die.
Today it's mostly been Liv and let die.

Liv Boeree has hadn't the best of days, what with battling food poisoning as well as a fairly crazy table. The Team PokerStars Pro had bet the flop of A-A-9 with ace-jack in her hand and called all in on the king turn only to find her opponent having caught a full house with pocket kings. There was no redraw for her and she went immediately to rail Kevin MacPhee who was embroiled in his own hand.

MacPhee had opened to 1,200 preflop with Lucille Cailly flat-calling on the button, Jean Pierre Petroli squeezed to 4,100 from the blinds but MacPhee four-bet to 10,700. Cailly got out of the way and after about a minute's thought, Petroli made it 26,000.

Former EPT Berlin winner MacPhee sighed, knowing he was committed and put his chips in the middle as did the Frenchman.

MacPhee: {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}
Petroli: {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}

The board came an aceless {5-Spades}{6-Spades}{9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and the couple exited to the rail together.
