Jamnikar Doubles

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Ziga Jamnikar made his move on the button and moved all in. Johnny Lodden called him and it was heads up. Jamnikar had {q-Spades}{9-Spades} and Lodden the {a-Hearts}{2-Spades}.

The board ran out {4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{j-Spades} and the pair for Jamnikar was good enough for the double up.

How’s Your Lauck?

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Patrick Sacrispeyre had the last of his chips in with {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}, a hand that must look pretty nice when it’s folded to you and you’re short. He was called by Pokerstars player Jonas Lauck who tabled {a-Spades}{q-Spades} and it didn’t look so good any more.

The cards ran out {k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}. All the aces came out but that was no good for Sacrispeyre who was felted.

Igin Viacheslav Eliminated

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

It wasn't really Igin Viacheslav's level. First he faced a big river decision where he eventually folded a big hand against Johnny Lodden.

Not long after he got all of his chips in with {A-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}. His opponent had {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} and the best hand held up. Viacheslav was drawing dead on the turn with the board reading {6-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}.

Baumgarten Out of Rice

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Brazilian Pokerstars player Joao Baumgarten had what they call in poker a “bowl of rice”. With just 38,000 in chips and he flicked it in with {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}. It folded to the big blind Rumen Nanev who made the call with {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}.
The final board read {6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{8-Spades}. The threes held and Baumgarten’s EPT bowl was finally empty.

Soulier Doubles Through Roy

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Fabrice Soulier was down to his last 52,000 in chips but just found his much needed double up. Unfortunately for Jonathan Roy he was the one supplying the chips.

In was a pre flop all in with Roy holding the best hand with {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}. Soulier had a fighting chance with {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} though and would come out victorious.

The {4-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}-flop missed both but the {Q-Diamonds} on the turn was good for Soulier. The {2-Clubs} on the river was a blank and meant a double up for Soulier.
