Three players saw the river on a board, and Brian Roberts bet 15,000 from the big blind. It was an overbet, as the pot contained just slightly over 12,000, and the player in the cutoff quickly folded. Dan Smith had something to think about on the button though, and the American high roller eventually said he was all in. It looked to be about 30,000 more, and Roberts thought for awhile before mucking.
"Don't show it," he warned Smith.
"Don't?" Smith slid his cards inward but kept a hold of them.
"OK, please show," Roberts said with a laugh.
"You can't have it both ways," Smith replied, keeping them face-down and collecting the pot.
Smith is coming off a win in the €5,000 Midnight Turbo event, where he collected €109,370 for topping a field of 82.
Players at Isaac Haxton's table are reminiscing about the formative years of the online poker industry. They're discussing how they came up in the poker world, building bankrolls on some of the old multi-skin sites and using family members' names to get around age restrictions. Plenty of stories are getting tossed around, but Isaac Haxton had perhaps the most amusing anecdote.
"I remember the first $50,000 I won playing poker," he said. "It was on Ultimate Bet. I think I was playing under my mom's name."
Paul Newey opened for 500 from the hijack and Pratyush Buddiga called from the button. Vladimir Dobrovolskii came along from the small blind and three players took a flop of . Dobrovolskii checked, Newey continued for 1,000, and Buddiga got out of the way.
Dobrovolskii called and then checked after the dealer burned and turned the . Newey doubled his bet to 2,000, and it did the trick as Dobrovolskii released his hand.

Team Online's Isaac Haxton, who was recently bounced from the Main Event, joined the €25,000 High Roller and immediately began to chat with his opponents. One of the topics concerned the aforementioned schedule, and Haxton gave his input.
"They're doing a great job getting rid of stops I don't like and replacing them with ones I like," said Haxton. "Sanremo turning into Malta is a big upgrade."
The rest of the table seemed to agree that it was a good schedule, though a few said they wished Vienna was back on it. Only time will tell if that happens.
With approximately 4,000 in the pot and a flop of , Argentina's Carlos Mironiuk checked and Fedor Holz did the same. Russia's Ismail Erkenov then bet 2,600, Mironiuk check-raised to 6,500, and Folz folded. Erkenov made the call and then both players checked the turn before Mironiuk fired out 6,000 on the river.
Erkenov called and Mironiuk confidently rolled over the for two pair. Unfortunately for him, it was no good as Erkenov made a bigger two pair on the turn with the .
With around 4,500 in the pot and a board reading , Jean-Noel Thorel checked from the big blind and then called when Daniel Colman bet 3,000 from middle position. When the completed the board on the river, Thorel quickly tossed out a blue T5,000 chip and Colman wasted little time in making the call.
Thorel tabled the for aces and eights with a king kicker, but it was no good as Colman held a bigger two pair with the .
Faraz Jaka is known for his proclivity to play pots, and he hasn't been shy about putting chips in play early on.
Shortly after taking a pot from Carlos Chadha, Jaka got involved with Dani Stern with a board of between them. Stern was under the gun and checked, and Jaka bet 2,600 on fourth street. Stern came out with a sizable check-raise to 9,500, and Jaka wasted little time before calling. On the river, Stern blasted out a huge bet of 30,000, and Jaka tanked for a few minutes before sliding his cards inward.
