Riess busts Wigg

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante
Anton Wigg
Anton Wigg

Picking up the action on the flop {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, Anton Wigg bet 2,100 from the cutoff and Ryan Riess raised it up to 6,200 from one seat over. Wigg called and then checked the {J-Clubs} turn. Riess leaned over to check for the stack of his opponent and then bet 11,700. Wigg, who was deep in a massage as well, took his time before announcing all in and Riess snap-called.

Wigg: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}
Riess: {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}

The {K-Hearts} river blanked and that sent Wigg to the rail while Riess improved on his second attempt.

Greenwood Busts Calamusa

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

Sam Greenwood made it 1,300 pre-flop and Pierre Calamusa called. On a flop of {2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} Greenwood continued for 2,500 but was raised by Calamusa to 5,300. Greenwood called and the pair both checked the {3-Clubs} on the turn. On the {a-Clubs} river Greenwood checked and Calamusa bet 10,000. Greenwood then moved all-in and had his opponent covered. Calamusa thought before committing his chips to the pot.

Greenwood turned over {2-Hearts}{2-Spades} for a flopped set, and Calamusa could do nothing but sigh and muck {a-}{10-} before heading to the exit

Coulier Makes "a Dumb Call"

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

On the {Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} river, Arne Coulier checked out of the small blind and Zvi Stern bet 2,500 from the cutoff. Coulier pondered about his decision, grabbed the chips for the call and then said to himself and the whole table "this might be a really dumb call." The Belgian then called and was shown the winning {K-Hearts}{3-Clubs}.

Coulier shares the table with Joao Vieira, Pratyush Buddiga, Kevin Killeen and Daniel Dvoress as well.

Arrude Takes from Neuville

Level 5 : 250/500, 50 ante

Willliam Arruda, who cashed in the Main Event and finished 41st after busting early on Day 4, just played a pot against table neighbor Pierre Neuville. The Brazilian bet the {A-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades}{K-Diamonds} turn for 7,000 and Neuville called on the button before the {6-Diamonds} fell on the river.
