Stephen Malone changed rather quickly from calling for a ten and no jack, to praying for a jack and no ten, after he got it in with the versus Iliodoros Kamatakis's and the board rolled out to the turn.
Unfortunately for him, the river was no help and he busted 28th.
Action folded to Rhys Jones in the small blind and he limped in. In the big blind, Dzmitry Urbanovich raised to 33,000.
Jones thought about it for a bit before putting in a stack of 25,000-chips worth 400,000 or so. Urbanovich announced all in and it was time to put the cards on their backs.
From the hijack position, Patrick Clarke raised it up to 26,000. Mikhail Petrov in the big blind made the call and the two took a flop of . Petrov check called a bet of 31,000 and both players checked the on the turn.
The on the river made Petrov check again. Clarke bet 55,000 and after some tanking, Petrov called. Clarke showed and Petrov mucked.
"Did you try to get me of the chop?" Petrov asked.
"Thought you might call with ace-high" Clarke answered while stacking his newfound chips.
