Schienagel Doubles Desmottes; Caron Triples After

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Bruno Caron
Bruno Caron

Dennis Schienagel raised to 30,000 and Jean Desmottes jammed for 159,000, which the German called after some consideration.

Desmottes tabled {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and Schienagel held {k-Spades}{2-Spades}. There was some uproar from the French players at the table when the flop fell {10-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts}, but Desmottes remained in contention on the {5-Diamonds} turn and {9-Diamonds} river run out.

Soon after, Giuliano Bendinelli raised to 30,000 first and Schienagel called from one seat over, as did Luigi Shehadeh on the button. Bruno Caron jammed for 103,000 in the big blind and that was called by Schienagel and Shehadeh.

On the {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop, Schienagel jammed and Shehadeh folded with 230,000 behind.

Bruno Caron: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Dennis Schienagel: {10-Spades}{5-Spades}

The {q-Clubs} turn gave Caron the check mark and the {3-Diamonds} river was a formality.
