Moura Gets Thin Value

Level 12 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Lucas Greenwood opened from under the gun and Gabriel Moura defended out of the big blind.

Moura checked on the flop of {4-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Greenwood checked back. Moura then led out for 15,000 on the {4-Hearts} turn and Greenwood called. The river brought the {k-Hearts} and Moura bet a tiny 6,000. Greenwood shrugged and called, only to muck when Moura showed {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for third pair.

Benitez Spikes River to Score Double Knockout

Level 12 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Francisco Benitez
Francisco Benitez

Wuai-Cheng Tsang ended up getting his stack of approximately 80,000 in from middle position, Anton Sazonau had gotten his stack in from the button, and both players were at risk against Francisco Benitez in the hijack.

Wuai-Cheng Tsang: {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Anton Sazonau: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Francisco Benitez: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

Sazonau was in good shape with the cowboys and the {q-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop kept him ahead. The {9-Clubs} turn gave Benitez additional outs, however, and the {8-Diamonds} spiked the river to give Benitez a straight and the sizable pot, while Sazonau and Tsang were eliminated.

Conan Binks Turn to Nearly Triple

Level 12 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Tom Vogelsang
Tom Vogelsang

Gabriel Moura opened from under the gun and Ashkan Fattahi three-bet to 35,000 as the player next to act. Tom Vogelsang in middle position then four-bet jammed a stack of around 45,000 before Arthur Conan put in the cold five-bet jam with around 77,000. Moura folded while Fattahi called with both opponents covered.

Tom Vogelsang: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Arthur Conan: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Ashkan Fattahi: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

The flop of {5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs} kept Vogelsang ahead with jacks, but the {10-Spades} appeared on the turn to catapult Conan ahead with a full house. The {k-Clubs} on the river didn't change things other than giving Fattahi a meaningless pair. Conan secured a near triple-up while Vogelsang was eliminated.

Greenwood Moving Up

Level 12 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Luc Greenwood
Luc Greenwood

Lucas Greenwood opened to 12,000 in middle position and Ramiro Petrone defended the big blind. Petrone check-called for 20,000 on the {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop and check-called for 50,000 on the {8-Diamonds} turn, but swiftly check-folded to a jam by Greenwood on the {5-Spades} river.

Soon after that hand, Greenwood was seen eliminating Mike Watson to chip up further.

Gleissner Sends Dimov to the Rail

Level 11 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Bernd Gleissner
Bernd Gleissner

Ognyan Dimov jammed the small blind for his 45,500 chips and Bernd Gleissner called in the big blind to put him at risk.

Ognyan Dimov: {k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Bernd Gleissner: {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}

The {a-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Spades} flop kept Dimov ahead, but the {q-Clubs} turn left him needing a king to stay alive, and the {3-Hearts} river confirmed his elimination.

"Good luck, guys," said the Bulgarian player as he made his exit, while Gleissner added to his growing stack.

Suarez Busts Kamal

Level 11 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Bejjani Kamal limped in from the small blind and Anton Suarez raised from the big blind. Kamal called.

Kamal checked on the flop of {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Suarez bet 10,000. Kamal called. Kamal then led out for 26,000 on the {3-Hearts} turn and Suarez called.

The river brought the {2-Clubs} and Kamal checked and stared down Suarez as he made a decision. Suarez bet 55,000 to put Kamal all in for the same amount and Kamal went deep in the tank for several minutes. Eventually, he called.

Suarez tabled {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for deuces full of queens and Kamal smacked the table in frustration before showing a worse full house with {k-Spades}{3-Spades} and hitting the rail.
