Ahuja Has Final Table Stack After Double Knockout

Andreas Christoforou moved all in for 325,000 in the hijack and Ankit Ahuja called in the small blind. Ivan Tukmachev then reshoved for 1,600,000 in the big blind and Ahuja called once more.

Ahuja was in the lead heading to the flop, which came 2♥9♥A♦ and gave Tukmachev two pair. The 3♥ fell on the turn, but the river was the 8♥ and Ahuja improved to a flush to send both players to the rail.

"Now you can sleep, come back and play the final table tomorrow," a tablemate joked with Ahuja, who moved over 6,000,000 with that pot.

Atallah Bets the River, Clock Called on Zhaparov

With around 500,000 in the pot on a board of Q♠J♠J♥A♣, Michel Atallah bet 225,000 from the small blind and Dauren Zhaparov called on the button.

The river came the 9♥ and Atallah bet another 425,000. Zhaparov then tanked for nearly five minutes until the clock was finally called.

He allowed the countdown to get within the final 10 seconds before sliding his cards back to the dealer.

The 9♦ river completed the board and Christoforou bet 300,000. Ahuja quickly called. Christoforou showed 10♠10♥ for a pair of tens, but it was no good against the pair of aces of his opponent with A♦J♠.

A pot of around 700,000 was already in the middle as Nils Pudel and Eduard Norel went heads-up to the turn on a board of 6♦10♥2♣5♦.

Pudel then moved all in for 740,000 in the hijack and Norel asked for a count before calling. He showed J♣10♠ for top pair, but Pudel had J♦J♠.

The river brought the 10♦ to give Norel trips and he picked up his ten and gave it a kiss as Pudel was sent to the rail.

At the same time on another table, Ali Al-Kubasi had raised to 100,000 on the button, then called when Karen Nazarian moved all in for 1,390,000 in the small blind.

Baryshnikov Spikes the River on Ialovega

Stanislav Tishkevich raised to 80,000 under the gun and was called by Nikolay Baryshnikov in middle position, as well as Roman Ialovega on the button.

The flop came 7♦5♣J♣ and action checked to Ialovega who bet 125,000. Tishkevich folded, but Baryshnikov called to see the K♦ turn.

Ialovega then moved all in and Baryshnikov quickly called. Ialovega showed K♠J♠ for two pair while Baryshnikov had K♣Q♦ and needed help on the river.

He got it as the dealer turned over the Q♣. Ialovega shot out of his seat and began to head for the exit, but a recount showed Baryshnikov had 215,000 remaining, while Ialovega was left with just 200,000.
