Patka Picks Off Check-Raise River Bluff From Ogita

Level 38 : Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante

Daisuke Ogita limped in from the small blind with 94 and Tomas Patka checked from the big blind with K5.

The flop fanned out K86 and Ogita quickly led out for a large size of 2,000,000. Patka took a moment before making the call with his top pair and flush draw.

The J hit the turn and Ogita slowed down with a check over to Patka who checked back. The K completed the board and Ogita tapped the table over to Patka who assembled a bet of 3,000,000.

Ogita took a few seconds before sliding in a check-raise bluff to 8,500,000 and Patka went deep in the tank. After close to a minute of thought, Patka put in the chips for a call and took down the massive pot from Ogita to regain the chip lead.
