Kirill Burtin opened 500,000 in the cutoff before Alexander Tkatschew three-bet to 1,100,000 on the button. Eduardo Pereira was in the big blind and dropped a stack across the line for a raise to 10,000,000, forcing Burtin out of the pot but Tkatschew snap-called his remaining stack of 5,800,000.

On the 9♠5♣6♣ flop, Higgins check-jammed versus a bet of 350,000 from Patka. Higgins was quickly called by Patka and was at risk.

PokerStars Announces Full Five Stop 2024 EPT Schedule; Paris and Cyprus Return

PokerStars has unveiled the full schedule for the 2024 European Poker Tour (EPT) season, which shows five destinations, including a return to EPT Paris and EPT Cyprus. Both Paris and Cyprus made their EPT debut in 2023, and they return for 2024, much to the delight of the players.

EPT Paris is the first stop of the 2024 European Poker Tour season. It takes place between February 14-25 at a new venue. The stunning Le Palais des Congres has a 120-table capacity, meaning there will be a more extensive schedule for the festival. Cedric Billot, Associate Director for Live Events and Operations, believes the new-look EPT Paris could be one of the largest EPT festivals on record.

Krahulik checked to Karim, who continued for 700,000. The call was made to see the K♥ turn, where both players checked. Krahulik then tapped the table one last time after the 7♦ river.

Karim slid out a bet of 2,100,000 and Krahulik took some time before tossing in the call. Karim turned over A♦Q♣ for top pair, taking down a sizeable pot as Krahulik mucked.

Wyrzykiewicz Gains Chip Lead in Massive Five-bet Pot

Michel Karim opened 400,000 under the gun before being three-bet to 1,100,000 on the button by Remigiusz Wyrzykiewicz. Karim put in another raise to 2,800,000 and Wyrzykiewicz responded with a jam for 10,400,000. Karim tanked for about a minute and a half before making the call.
