Kyte Draws to a Straight Flush

Action folded to Padraig O'Neill who limped in from the small blind. "Alright, friendly," Jon Kyte said as he checked.

O'Neill led out for 60,000 on the 7♣5♠K♠ flop and Kyte called. The turn was the 9♣ and O'Neill checked to Kyte, who bet 200,000.

O'Neill called and the 7♦ fell on the river. O'Neill then bet 100,000 and Kyte put a red 100,000 chip on top of O'Neill's bet.

O'Neill turned over K♦8♣ for two pair and Kyte mucked. "Straight flush draw. I needed the eight of clubs. Drawing dead to a straight flush," Kyte said.

The tens stayed ahead on the Q♠Q♣9♣ flop and Ruggeri check-called for 125,000.

The 2♣ turn left Rodin drawing dead. Ruggeri led out for 285,000 and Rodin folded.

Kyte Gets Some Back From O'Neill

Padraig O'Neill opened to 120,000 from the hijack and was three-bet to 360,000 by Jon Kyte in the cutoff. It was folded back around to O'Neill, who called.

O'Neill check-called a 240,000 bet from Kyte on the 3♦5♠5♦ flop and then both players checked down on the 2♠ turn and K♣ river.

O'Neill tabled A♠9♠, which was no good against Kyte’s A♣Q♦.

“At least I got some back,” Kyte said as he collected the pot.

Spragg tabled A♦4♦ for ace-high and the pot was shipped to her opponent.

Rodin hit top pair on the Q♥8♦6♣ flop and continued for 260,000. Ruggeri fought back and raised to 585,000. Rodin called.

The K♠ turn improved Rodin to two pair. Ruggeri then check-folded to a bet of 505,000.

The flop came 6♠K♣7♠ and O'Neill continued for 75,000. Zhao called and both players checked the 3♣ turn.

O'Neill bet another 250,000 on the 2♣ river and Zhao used a time bank before calling. O'Neill then showed J♠J♣ and Zhao mucked.

Action checked through to the river with the final board reading K♥Q♠2♣3♥4♠. The players again checked through to showdown, and Spragg picked up the pot.

Kyte, Helou Tangle Twice

Jon Kyte raised to 130,000 in the cutoff as action folded to Mark Helou in the big blind. "Heads up," Helou asked.

"No, you, me, and the dealer. The three of us," Kyte joked. Helou called and the flop came Q♦3♥K♣. Kyte bet 120,000 and Helou called.

Both players checked down the 8♣ turn and 6♦ river as Helou showed Q♥J♣ to win the pot with a pair of queens.

Kyte then raised to 130,000 under the gun and Helou called in the small blind. "Queen-jack again? Let's see if you get lucky again," Kyte said heading to the A♥2♠A♦ flop.

Kyte bet 100,000. "If you have a pair you win. King-queen suited. I don't have the stack to three-bet," Helou said, giving up his hand.

Govert Metaal opened to 215,000 from the small blind with A♥5♦. Marle Spragg called with 8♦7♦ from the big blind.

Both players connected on the A♠9♠7♣ flop, with Metaal maintaining his lead. Both players checked, and the 5♥ turn appeared on the felt. Metaal bet 275,000 with his aces and fives and was called.

The J♥ completed the board, and Metaal fired out 625,000. Spragg tossed her cards back to the dealer to concede the pot.
