Casper Hansen Crippled by Phillips

Casper Hansen
Casper Hansen
Casper Hansen and Tony Phillips went to war pre-flop. Casper starting the action by raising on the button. Tony re-raised from the small blind and Casper moved all in. It was an easy call for Tony with {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}. Casper had {A-Clubs}{J-Spades} and there was no surprises on the board.

Tony Phillips now has 132,000 whilst Casper is down to 11,900.

Menh Hua Eliminated

Menh Hua moved all in for 18,400 on a {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} board. There was already 40,000 in the pot. Suman Nedzib asked for the pot to be spread before making the call with {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} which was way ahead of Menh's {A-Clubs}{4-Hearts}.

Huge laydown from Golser

Markus Golser
Markus Golser
Markus Golser just made a quality laydown against an extremely aggressive opponent in the form of Dutchman Adrian Schaap.

Flop: {3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{A-Spades}

Schaap leads for 1600 and Golser raises to 6000. Schaap calls.

Turn {5-Spades} Schaap leads for 5,500. Golser raises to 15,000 and Schaap quickly calls.

River {J-Spades} and once again Schaap leads the way, this time all-in for 74,000 having Golser slightly covered.

Markus goes into the tank for a minute saying "Wow! This is the worst card in the deck for me". Eventually he folded {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts} face up.

Schaap proudly slams {3-Spades}{4-Spades} on the table for a well disguised back door flush.

Dag Martin Mikkelsen Eliminated

Suman Nedzib has claimed another victim. He called Dag Mikkelsen down with {Q-Spades}{10-Clubs} on a {10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds} board. Dag put his last chips in on the river and mucked when Suman called him.

Suman is currently on a heater in this tournament. Little over an hour ago the Swede had just 14,000 chips. He hit a flush with {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} vs {K-Spades}{K-Clubs} all in pre-flop and has now eliminated three players since to climb to 152,000.

Praz Bansi Eliminated

Prashem Banzi
Prashem Banzi
Praz Bansi lost two big pots in a row to Luis Sevilla. The first ,after some pre-flop raising, Praz had to lay down when Luis shoved over his 22,000 bet on a King high flop.

Presumably tilting, he then re-raised Sevilla's 6,000 raise all in. Sevilla snap called the 60,000 with {A-Spades}{K-Hearts} which had Praz's {K-Spades}{4-Hearts} dominated and remained ahead by the river.

King-Four is the hand of the moment

Kristian Kjondal
Kristian Kjondal
Alec Torelli raises from mid position and is re-raised to12,000 by Kristian Kjondal from the blinds. Torelli then moves all in for 40,000 more and Kjondal calls.

{K-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for Torelli
{Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} for Kjondal

No suck-out for the American and Kjondal now has over 200,000 and possibly the chip lead.
