There seems to be a fondness for open pushing in this tournament, much more so than we normally see in an event of this buy-in.

I just witnessed an unknown open-push for 10,000 on a {7-Diamonds}

flop, the pot having 1,500 in it. It turns out the pusher had {6-Spades}

, which pleased the caller who had {Q-Hearts}

. That is, until the river brought the {6-Diamonds}

to eliminate the other player.
