Trickett “Ready To Go”

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Sam Trickett
Sam Trickett

Not long ago Sam Trickett opened for 5,500 and faced a three-bet. He sighed deeply, picked up the remainder of his stack and dropped it in. His opponent folded and that got a laugh from the table.

Several hands later he opened and again shoved over the top of a three-bet from the same player. Getting a fold again he turned over {k-Clubs}{q-Spades} and told him, “Same hand. I told you, I’m ready to go.”

Trickett hasn’t got a ton of chips, he is ready to gamble and the table has been served notice.

Rettenmaier Doubles Through Dion

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Yann Dion
Yann Dion

Yann Dion had called an opening raise in position for 5,000 before Marvin Rettenmaier squeezed all in from the small blind. Marc Daubach folded the big blind and the original raiser also folded.

Dion eyed up Rettenmaier's stack, it was 46,500 in total, and then made the call. Rettenmaier turned over {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} and Dion immediately rolled his eyes as he fipped {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

The board came {K-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and the German doubled up.

Farrell Busts Chidwick

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

We saw Stephen Chidwick heading for the exit door and as we returned to his table Niall Farrell had a ton of chips in front of him and asked if he was the executioner. Indeed he was and he kindly relayed the action to us.

Farrell opened from early position with {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and Chidwick three-bet. Farrell called to see the flop come {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. A check from Farrell saw Chidwick bet 14,000, Farrell raise to 42,000 and Chidwick shove for 150,000. Farrell called it off and hit a {9-} on the turn to give him the straight.
