Farrell Matching Cards

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

On a flop of {9-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{9-Hearts} Dominik Nitsche continued for 7,000 and got a call from Niall Farrell.

They both checked the turn {3-Clubs} and got to a river {4-Clubs}. Nitsche bet 20,000 and Farrell took a couple of minutes before he raised to 50,000. Nitsche tried to puzzle it out and eventually made the call.

Nitsche threw his cards away in annoyance when he saw Farrell had rivered a set with {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}.

“I was repping the fours.” Farrell joked as Nitsche said he couldn’t see what else he had there. “I’m good at matching my cards”

Higgins Five-Bets Preflop

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Joel Nordkvist opened the action from the button for 4,500 and Simon Higgins raised to 12,000. Nordkvist came back with a raise to 28,000 and Higgins responded with a further raise to 60,000.

Nordkvist made the call and they went to a flop of {2-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{k-Hearts}. The two players checked and the turn card was the {2-Clubs}. Higgins went for a bet of 41,000 and Nordkvist moved all in. It would cost Higgins the rest of his chips to call. He threw down his {a-}{j-} in annoyance asking Nordkvist why he didn’t just get it all in preflop.

Farrell Busts Chidwick

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

We saw Stephen Chidwick heading for the exit door and as we returned to his table Niall Farrell had a ton of chips in front of him and asked if he was the executioner. Indeed he was and he kindly relayed the action to us.

Farrell opened from early position with {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and Chidwick three-bet. Farrell called to see the flop come {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. A check from Farrell saw Chidwick bet 14,000, Farrell raise to 42,000 and Chidwick shove for 150,000. Farrell called it off and hit a {9-} on the turn to give him the straight.
