Rui Ferreira Eliminated in 3rd Place ($66,626); Mads Amot in 2nd Place ($92,150)

Blinds: 1,250,000/2,500,000/300,000

Connor Drinan, who managed to double through Rui Ferreira not long before, just went from sitting with a single big blind to champion in less than 10 minutes!

First, he dispatched Ferreira in third place after the two got in a preflop raising way.

Rui Ferreira: {2-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Connor Drinan: {k-Spades}{10-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

Drinan was on the right side of the aces-versus-king clash and he held after the board ran out a clean {8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades}. Ferreira had to settle for third place and $66,626.42 in prize money.

Drinan went on to take a more than 3:1 chip lead into heads-up play against Mads Amot, and within a matter of hands closed out the victory. The Norwegian player had to settle for second place and $92,150.19 in prize money.
