Moses Gets Out Flopped and Busts to Bartholomew

Level 12 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
David Moses
David Moses

Jason Bartholomew raised to 5,500 from middle position and David Moses called from the cutoff.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and Bartholomew bet 10,500. Moses jammed for about 70,000 and was called.

David Moses: {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Jason Bartholomew: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

Unfortunately for Moses, the case seven came on the flop and he found himself with two pair against a set. The {k-Clubs} came on the turn for a sweat, but the {4-Hearts} harmlessly completed the board to send Moses home.

Wright Finds Ten to Triple

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Three players were heading to a flop with all action completed. Ray Wright was the shortest stack and a side pot was created between Ira Kroopneck and a player in middle position.

Ray Wright: {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Ira Kroopneck: {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Middle Position: {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Just before the dealer fanned out the flop, Wright said to "make sure to write that the ten came in the window". The ten didn't come in the window, but it did come on the {4-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop and that was good enough to put him ahead. The {2-Clubs} and {5-Hearts} completed the board and Wright tripled while Kroopneck took the side pot.

Lecardonnel Rivers Flush Over Straight

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Fabien Lecardonnel recapped some of the action. A player in middle position raised to 4,500 preflop and Lecardonnel called.

The flop was {5-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Lecardonnel called a pot-sized bet.

Both players checked the {9-Spades} turn and the {8-Spades} came on the river. The middle position player bet 15,000 and Lecardonnel jammed for 70,000. His opponent called and hands were revealed.

Fabien Lecardonnel: {q-Spades}{3-Spades}
Middle Position: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

Fabien Lecardonnel had the best of it with a flush over a straight and the dealer sent the pot his way.

Askey Sits Down and Flushes

Level 10 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Anthony Askey
Anthony Askey

Anthony Askey had just sat down at his table and was all-in and looking to double.

Anthony Askey: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Opponent: {9-}{9-}

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} to give Askey a double-up in an unlikely fashion after getting the chips in what looked to be a simple coin flip.
