As far as we can tell, Germany's Igor Kurganov is the first and only player so far to take an almost immediate rebuy, with just a couple of hands playing out before Kurganov opted to dish out the HK$1,000,000 (US$130,000) and receiving an extra 1 million in chips. We are sure more will follow Kurganov soon enough.
